Seattle is definitely one of the favorite destinations of Vancouverites for a weekend trip. So, I recently spent a weekend there to enjoy Pike Place Market and to explore the city from the ground (actually even from below thanks to an awesome underground tour) and from above. And, of course, to ride the Monorail!
My main take-away: As Seattle’s waterfront (at least the parts that I’ve seen) is either privately owned, commercialized or separated by a highway, I once again realized how important it is for a city like Vancouver to have its waterfront accessible for all people as this adds so much value in terms of quality of life.
