Let’s call this a relaunch!

As you’ve probably noticed, there was a relaunch of AndreasLindinger.AT as of November 2nd, 2013 which I would rather classify as a rebirth. In particular, the design has (apparently) changed, the pages were updated, the thematic focus moved sllightly to reflect changing interests and priorities, menus and categories were adjusted and – first and foremost – I’ve switched from blogging in German and English to blogging in English only.

While the latter might be a sad move for some of my German speaking audience (although most of you should be fluent in English anyway), I am sure that this will have a positive impact on the frequency of my blogposts. Moreover, I am convinced that many of the stories that I’ll be discussing on this blog will be of interest to a wider audience as I aim at sharing best practices, inspiring insights and controversial issues from Vienna (where I am currently living), Vancouver (where I recently spent an exciting year) and other places.

In particular, I am looking forward to finally writing about many of the exciting issues that I’ve experienced and heard about in the past months, whether it’s discussions of civic engagement efforts in Vancouver and Vienna, lessons in sustainable urban development from Stockholm, calls for action from Global Power Shift in Istanbul or so many inspiring insights from talks, panel discussions and conferences that I didn’t have the time to share yet.

Finally, I’d like to note that previous blogposts (both from the English section of my blog as well as several translated German blogposts) will be added to this site in the course of November. So, stay tuned and enjoy!
